This is a state. It's close to the ocean. It has a lot of lighthouses. Maine's state animal is the moose. Portland is Maine's largest city. Maine's state flower is the white pine cone and tassel. Acadia National Park is in Maine. The park covers approximately 42,000 acres(17,000 ha) including most of Mount Desert Island off the coast of Maine. A small part of the park is on Schoodic Peninsula and another part is on lsle au Haut.
